COVID-19 UPDATE

We are open to the public for browsing!
We would like to thank all of the community members for your patience and loyalty during these hard times.
8 vehicles will be allowed at a time within our nursery grounds. Please note that there may be wait times. We strongly recommend bringing your own face masks and gloves.

With the challenges presented to our community concerning the COVID-19 situation, we want to assure you all that we are working diligently to ensure we continue to provide the products and services you need. As the oldest and largest nursery in the Four Corners region, we are proud to offer our employees our large outdoor spaces while still practicing safe social distancing. Please take a moment to read our FAQ below for more information on our business operations,
Are you an essential business?
At present, we believe we are indeed essential. The products we have in stock, can be used to avoid populated areas and participate in alternative hobbies by working at home on yard and garden projects with your family. These outdoor activities can promote both physical and mental health, which are essential during this difficult time. We provide all the products needed to grow herbs, fruits, and vegetables, as well as fruiting trees and shrubs. We believe edible landscaping is quickly becoming an increasingly important aspect of sustainability for the future of our nation.
can customers browse your grounds?
We are now open to the public! Please note that we are only allowing 8 vehicles within our nursery at a time. There may be wait times at the gate. We will still be offering gate pick up services and deliveries. We recommend wearing mask and gloves when shopping at our nursery.
  • We are happy to offer texting or emailing images of products to all customers (Note: We cannot guarantee the color presented in images. Quality and color will depend and vary based off type of device and lighting conditions present). We cannot provide Facetime or any Video Chatting methods at this time.
  • For plants, you may call our office to see what we have in stock. Otherwise, we prefer that you email your plant wish lists to michelle@durangonursery.com. Please allow 1-3 business days for our staff to get back to you with a plant list quote and availability.
  • Interested in having an edible landscape? Check out what fruits and edibles we have in stock here.

  • Plant Identification: Love that plant your neighbor has but just don't know what it is? Email us a picture and description of the plants habits if you have any of those details! We love a good plant ID challenge!
how are you protecting your employees?
Our top priority will be providing a safe and healthy environment for our employees, customers, and the community. We will be doing everything to ensure that our office and other workplaces are safe and sanitary by following these protocols:
  • Staying compliant with CDC guidelines. 6 foot distance is mandatory!
  • Any employee that is not feeling well is advised to stay home until symptoms have subsided, consulting with their doctor as needed.
  •  Providing additional hygiene supplies in common areas of the workplace for sanitary and good hygiene practices.
  • Cleaning all common retail and work areas multiple times daily.
We at Durango Nursery & Supply understand that there are challenges being presented to everyone in the community. We are all in this together, and we are committed to working closely with our customers to adapt to this constantly changing situation. Please know that for the time being, until we are ordered otherwise, Durango Nursery & Supply will remain open for business and continue to accept orders. We currently have lots of soils, amendments, seeds, and rock, and we are starting to receive plants as well!  At this time, all our suppliers are continuing to ship product as normal, and we have not been informed of any delays or stops in shipments.
