CDL Class B Delivery Driver

‍

Drive for Durango Nursery! The CDL Delivery Driver delivers palletized products and large trees to customers in Durango and surrounding areas using a large flatbed truck with a truck-mounted forklift, or other smaller vehicles/trailers as needed. This position is also responsible for scheduling deliveries and maintaining an online delivery calendar. We offer a fun work environment with opportunities for growth and education in the horticulture industry. This is a full-time seasonal position from March – November.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivering products to customers with safety and professionalism

• Staging, loading, and securing all product loads

• Scheduling deliveries with customers and maintaining an online delivery calendar

• Verifying customer order details and ensuring the correct products are delivered on time

• Handling customer concerns and resolving issues at delivery sites

• Mantaining vehicle trip and inspection logs

• Assisting with coordinating vehicle maintenance and service as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Class B CDL with Manual Endorsement required

• Forklift and/or other equipment operating experience strongly preferred

• Familiarity with the Four Corners region preferred

• Customer service experience preferred

• Experience with landscaping or horticulture a plus!

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Ability to commit to a regular schedule each week

PAY & BENEFITS

• $25 - $30/hr to start

• HRA - After 90 days
