The renowned, high-quality sweet cherry! Yields uniform crops of huge, glossy, deep-red almost black fruit. Flesh is solid and flavor is of the highest quality, great for fresh eating, cooking or canning. Originates from Salem, Oregon around 1875. Ripens in July.

Use 'Black Tartarian' or 'Stella' as a pollinator.
