Productive tree that bears gorgeous ruby red apples with a snowy center that won't turn brown in salads. Sweet with some tartness, great for fresh eating, juice, cider, cooking, and applesauce. Bred in Geneva, NY in the 1900s. Harvest in September/October. Unique pruning needs.

Semi self fertile; pollinators include Granny Smith and Golden Delicious.
